At Circadian Chiropractic & Sport, we believe in the body’s innate capacity to heal naturally and be well.
In order for an individual heal at their highest level, our Chiropractic care may differ from your traditional Chiropractic experience in two main ways:
1. We take state-of-the-art Digital X-Ray and then analyze it with the most up-to-date scientific systems from PostureRay. This allows us to take your spine’s unique structure into account when providing care, and we adjust according to how your body will best respond.
2. We utilize the Zone Technique for full-spine manual, drop table, and instrument adjusting.
What Can X-Rays Show?

Chiropractic was the first profession to use x-ray to measure spinal alignment, and we use state-of-the-art technology from PostureRay to visualize your Digital X-Rays to see normal alignment vs. abnormal alignment (seen above in the neck), as well as changes to spinal curves and any damage to the spine caused by long-term vertebral subluxation. Additionally, we can track progress and success over the years (if improving structure is your primary goal of care).
Specifically, here’s what we can see with X-Ray that can’t be visualized with the eyes alone:
- Spinal Alignment – Seen above, we can visualize exactly what a “normal” curve of the spine looks like (left) compared to your spine (right). In the above example, we can see a head that is shifting forward from the body’s center of mass or “Forward Head Posture”, with each inch of forward head positioning adding more stress to the structures of the spine and altering global nervous system function.
- Spinal Curvatures – In the above example, we can see a neck that clearly has lost its normal curve based on the green and red lines. Anywhere from 25-45º based on anatomy, and loss of curve can accelerate degenerative changes to the structure that become harder to correct with chronicity.
- Spinal Discs – In the above example, we can see a neck that has a loss of normal disc space at C5-C6 level, indicating a degenerative process that has been in the works for at least a decade under the surface.
- Other Issues – In addition to the above example, we can issues like fractures, ligament damage or instability, biomechanics, and other more serious red flags.
Don’t worry, we can help!

What Are The “Zones”?
“Zone” is a Chiropractic healing method originally created by Dr. Thurman Fleet in 1931 in San Antonio, Texas.
“Zone” focuses on balancing six BRAIN CENTERS that control the six main systems of the body (Glandular, Eliminative, Nervous, Digestive, Muscular, Circulatory). These centers send signals that travel from the brain, down the spinal cord, and through the nerves which directly or indirectly control the function of every organ, tissue, and cell in the human body.
Through our assessment, we analyze the six systems that control the body, find the imbalances, and help you balance them. And when your body is balanced, you HEAL!.

Zone 1, Glandular
The Glandular Zone controls all of the glands throughout your body. It controls and coordinates all of the hormones in the body
The brain communicates with all glands throughout the body, initiating the release of vital hormones and chemicals crucial for maintaining health and facilitating optimal bodily functions.
When the body’s glands operate smoothly, you can enjoy enhanced moods, emotional stability, better sleep, increased energy levels, improved digestion, a robust immune system, hormonal equilibrium, and enhanced reproductive capabilities.
BALANCING THE GLANDULAR SYSTEM HELPS WITH:
Strong immune function, great concentration & memory, appetite regulation, clearer skin
Perfect sleep & relaxation, more overall energy
Regulated hormonal systems, improved digestion
Great thyroid, pineal, & pituitary gland health
Normalize metabolism, improve libido & sex health

Can help with: Fatigue • Feeling depressed • Anxiousness • Sleeping issues • Reproductive issues • Hormone issues

Zone 2, Eliminative
The Eliminative Zone oversees the function of all elimination organs, including the sinuses, bronchioles, lungs, kidneys, bladder, colon/intestines, toxins, and bowel movements.
Every cell in your body generates waste as part of its natural metabolic processes; yet, it necessitates a means of expelling this waste. Similar to the plumbing system in a house, a blockage leads to an unsanitary environment.
When the eliminative organs are functioning properly you can expect clear sinuses, a strong immune system, regular bowel movements, less bloating and toxins.
BALANCING THE ELIMINATIVE SYSTEM HELPS WITH:
Clear sinuses, nasal passages, & bronchial tubes
Powerful immune function
Strong lung, kidney, & bladder function
Regulates colon & bowel movements
Eliminate bloating & bodily toxins
Can help with: Constipation • Sinuses/Respiratory issues • Allergies • Skin issues • Urinary tract issues
Zone 3, Nervous
The Nervous Zone is comprised of the two automatic nervous systems: parasympathetic, which regulates a rest and recovery response; or sympathetic, which regulates the fight or flight response.
When this Zone is compromised, overall nervous system function may decline. You may experience anxiousness, worry, overstimulation, numbness, tingling, weakened muscles, dampened feeling, headaches, migraines, and lack of sleep.
A properly functioning Nervous System can bring you back into harmony, allowing you to handle your environment better. You can expect to no longer be overwhelmed and hyperactive or underwhelmed and seeking stimulation all the time.
BALANCING THE NERVOUS SYSTEM HELPS WITH:
Normal sense function: eyes, ears, nose, etc.
Balanced hormonal system, sexual hormones, healing more quickly
Excellent balance, increased energy, great sleep, appetite regulation
Improved mood, remaining calm & relaxed

Can help with: Nervousness • Anxiousness • Sleep challenges • Weak immune systems • Poor digestion • Reproductive issues

Zone 4, Digestive
The Digestive Zone encompasses more than just the stomach and intestines; it involves the mouth, esophagus, liver, gallbladder, and pancreas, all crucial for proper food breakdown.
When the Digestive Zone is unbalanced, you may experience food allergies, vitamin deficiencies, IBS, heartburn/acid reflux, bloating, flatulence, constipation, diarrhea, and appetite changes.
An optimally functioning Digestive System supports regular digestion, nutrient assimilation, and bowel movements.
BALANCING THE DIGESTIVE SYSTEM HELPS WITH:
Great appetite, decreased food sensitivities
Normal sense of taste / salivary gland health
Support healthy liver, intestine, & gallbladder
Normalize digestion & assimilation of all foods
Regulate blood sugar & boost energy
Can help with: Digestive issues • Food sensitivities • Weight issues
Zone 5, Muscular
The Muscular Zone primarily concerns the core structures of your body: muscles, tendons, ligaments, joints, and bones.
Individuals subjecting their bodies to significant physical stress may experience imbalances in their Muscular Zone, leading to pain, weakness, or muscle tension.
A well functioning Muscular System can support normal muscle tone, decrease aches and pains, enhance overall body strength, and promote relaxation.
BALANCING THE MUSCULAR SYSTEM HELPS WITH:
Normal feeling in all limbs & strong muscles
Perfect range of motion & strength during all movement, stable gait
Increased flexibility, strong ligaments & joints
Expedited recovery, improved muscular tone
Proper posture, balance, & eliminate dizziness

Can help with: Muscle or joint pain/stiffness • Lack of range of motion

Zone 6, Glandular
The Circulatory Zone oversees both the circulatory system (heart, veins, arteries) and the lymphatic system, which is vital for maintaining fluid balance and eliminating cellular waste.
Compromises in this Zone may lead to symptoms such as heart problems, irregular blood pressure, swelling, or cold extremities.
A well functioning Circulatory System can result in normalized blood pressure, improved temperature regulation in your extremities, and enhanced circulation throughout your body.
BALANCING THE GLANDULAR SYSTEM HELPS WITH:
Normal heart and lymphatic health
Normal blood pressure and heart rhythm
Healthy blood vessels, great circulation to all organs and extremities
Proper distribution of nutrients to all organs
Effective elimination of toxins & waste matter
Can help with: Poor circulation • Blood pressure issues • Numb or cold hands/feet
