The Rhythm. What is it?

As part of our commitment to you as patients (or the general public reading this), we'll share a quick read each week. Something important to grasp immediately is that what we offer in-person - Chiropractic care - is a completely separate and distinct health system from western medicine when it comes to your everyday health. While life-saving emergency medicine is incredible, that is not a system to trust with your everyday health.

Where's the proof? Here's a few stats:

• The US spends 450% more on healthcare than the military each year.

• The US spends more on healthcare than any other country in the world by far.

• The US ranks 37th for overall health.

• 70% (almost ¾) of Americans take a prescription drug daily.

• 25% (1 in 4) kids are on prescription medication.

• 25% (1 in 4) of women are on an antidepressant.

• 7.5% (1 in 13) kids are on psychiatric medication.

• 1.5% (1 in ~65) of infants are on psychotropic medications.

• The US is 11th out of 11 of the wealthiest nations in healthcare outcomes.

• 34th in life expectancy, 34th in infant mortality, 48th lowest in maternal mortality.

• Overall, our system ranks 72nd as an effective healthcare system.

Clearly, something isn’t working.
