posture correction

One of the most common reasons for a patient starting care is to correct posture. Here are some specific resources that may be relevant to you.

Correcting forward head posture

For every inch your head moves forward of your shoulders it adds 10 to 14 pounds of stress on your spine. At just one and a half inches forward, the most common finding in our office, your spine is already carrying 30 pounds of sustained load every single day. That pressure compresses the nerves that control your head, sinuses, thyroid, immune system, and arms, which is why forward head posture shows up as headaches, brain fog, arm numbness, and fatigue, not just neck pain. And it is progressive. Left uncorrected, ligaments shorten, discs degenerate, and bone spurs form. The window for conservative correction gets smaller the longer it goes unaddressed.

The good news is that correction is very achievable, especially when caught early. Watch the full video above for a complete breakdown including a self-test you can do right now, and book your new patient special below if you want to know exactly where your spine stands.
