Performance Chiropractic in Sarasota
Your nervous system sets your ceiling.
For athletes and golfers who aren’t hurt and want to get better while staying that way.

Why performance starts with the nervous system
Speed, power, and coordination all depend on how fast and clearly your brain talks to your muscles. When the spine is out of alignment, those signals get noisier, and the body starts compensating before you ever feel pain.
Rotational sports like baseball and golf build asymmetry into the body. One side gets stronger, the other gets tighter, and eventually something gives. Staying balanced is how you keep improving without breaking down.
I played D1 college baseball and coached professionally in the U.S. and internationally. Performance care is the work I wish I’d had as a player.
does this Sound familiar?
- You have plateaued in speed, power, or distance
- One side is stronger or tighter than the other
- Limited hip or trunk rotation
- A heavy training load and slow recovery
How we find the cause: Alignment, movement, spinal Damage
Every new patient gets the same thorough starting point. We test your spine three ways:
Alignment
Posture checks, balance scales, and eyes-closed stability testing to see how your body is carrying itself.
movement
Range of motion through your whole spine, plus how each segment moves on its own.
spinal Damage
Full-spine digital X-rays can show disc changes, arthritis, bone spurs, or old injuries that may have created a stress pattern.
For performance patients, balance, rotation, strength asymmetries, and HRV tell us as much as your X-rays.
From the side, your spine should have smooth, healthy curves. We measure yours and chart it against normal:
MildUp to 15% loss of curve
Moderate15–30% loss of curve
SevereMore than 30% loss of curve
Your PostureRay X-Ray Report shows you exactly where you stand, and we re-measure along the way so you can see progress, not just feel it.
How we help athletes perform
Your performance plan may include:
Corrective Chiropractic Care
Adjustments that keep your spine aligned and moving freely, so your nervous system is clear to perform at your highest athletic levels.

What to expect
Feeling better and being fully better aren’t the same thing. Most people notice changes early on. Truly stabilizing a spine that’s been out of alignment for years can take up to 6-12 months of consistency… That doesn’t mean 6-12 months to feel better, it just means that your body needs time to hold the correction so it doesn’t slide back.
Will it hurt? Changing a spine that hasn’t moved in years can feel like a workout at the beginning. If you feel it, it’s usually in the first couple of weeks, and we adapt our technique to what works best for you.
What our patients say
I’ve been to several chiropractors and I’ll say this stands in a league of its own. … In my initial appointment he did several evaluations (including x-ray scans) and took the time to educate me on everything. After just my first adjustment my golf swing feels more fluid and my body feels loose. Excellent experience and will be back bi-weekly!
